Its been two days since my outdoor shoot but I am still aching all over. It was fun though. Kit is a very experienced photographer who tries to get the best shots every time so he ended being a little picky. haha.... "straighten your head, lower your shoulder, blah blah blah.... so that the double chin doesnt come out." Phew....

I cannot imagine people who put their indoor and outdoor shoot in one day. I am almost zombified after each session even though it was just a mere few hours for each session since i separated my indoor and outdoor into 2 different days with a rest day in the middle. But good for me, i managed to go to 4 different places for my outdoor shoot... hiak hiak hiak hiak....

Here are the pictures for the indoor shoot, was too excited on the day of the outdoor shoot so did not take any pictures.

Satay Fondue

Satay Fondue!

It was supposed to be a great dinner before the truth descends… =(

Look how yummy it looks!!!

A small introduction of this Satay fondue (aint sure what it is called). It is similar to our Chinese steamboat aka hotpot or the more commonly known fondue. Sticks of raw food are dipped into a boiling pot of satay mixture (peanut and some spices). Sounds good so far?

Everybody was enjoying themselves…

Ok, here’s the gross part. The satay mixture which everybody was dipping their raw food into it is actually recycled. What do I mean by recycled? It means when a table of customers has left, they will collect the pot of left over gravy and pour it into pots of other customers. How’s that for hygiene!? (Janette dear, you really should not have told me the truth =P). Oh you think that’s gross? Here comes the worst part… the used satay sticks are actually brought into the kitchen, wash and RECYCLED!!! We should really give them an award for being the most environmental friendly shop!

Hows that for a tragic life....

Chicken Rice Ball Anyone?

Chicken Rice Ball Anyone?

Have any body heard of Chicken rice balls? I heard of ice balls though, never chicken rice balls. Anyway I did made a fool of myself when I saw every other tables in the shop has plates of fishball. So I happily told my friend that I wanted to order the fishball that they were having. Only then, they burst into laughter and told me that the fishballs wasn’t fishballs afterall but CHICKEN RICE BALLS!!!

Fishballs or chicken rice balls???

That’s Barry and his beautiful wife

Ah Nette and Yongsheng

Me and Hubby of coz!

One Day Melaka Trip

One Day Melaka Trip

Frankly speaking, I have never been on a ONE day tour to anywhere. It was so hectic, mad rush to everywhere especially the traffic condition in Malaysia aint as friendly as that of Singapore - I am glad I was not driving. There were almost a few near collision between us and the car in front.

After a 4 long hours drive, we finally made it to our hotel (Riveria Resort Hotel). I thought it was supposed to be a 2 hours drive from Singapore to Melaka???

A Fish Tale

It has almost been 4 years since I last touched any fishing rods. But it was definitely worth it to pick up the rod once again! I caught a 1kg (estimated) Mango Jack Snapper!!! Look at that fella!! Not much of a fight though but good enough for a person who have not been fishing for such a lonnggg time.

Oh not forgetting to mention that I suffered from extremely bad sun burnt after a day at Pasir Ris Park Fishing Pond! Look at me!!!! I look like a freshly baked lobster! Ouch… It still hurts…

That’s the Mango Jack cooked in Thai style… yummy!!!

Not forgetting the prawns I caught from the PPP prawn pond.
Stir fried vege with prawns… hmm… my favourite…
(err.. what is honey trying to do? I think he is hungry… =P)

**Sorry for stealing your pictures Ken! Hope you not going to charge me for it.

Our new addition!

Our new addition in the family! For those of you who are already starting to scratch your head and thinking of something else. DON’T worry! I am not pregnant!!!

Here’s Niki, our 4 month old Yorkshire…

Isn’t he a peach?

He was merely 500g when he first came to our place. Sounds like buying meat from the market doesn’t it? Anyway with our TLC, he has gained another 900g, weighing a total of 1.4kg now! Such an achievement… have I started sounding like a mum? Just say that I am using Niki to practice how to be a real mummy… hiak hiak…

Happily Married!!!

Happily Married on the 6th September 2006. For those who are not updated, don’t worry… my wedding banquet will not be soon. Been so busy with work that I have not gone banquet hunting with hubby yet. But it should be somewhere next December I hope… *keep my fingers cross*

Mr & Mrs Tan!!!

My mother-in-law and I. (Hope we wont end up like the show from SCV *Wars of the in-laws* hiak hiak hiak)

Exchanging wedding bands and Our marriage vows… *I will love ya forever honey!*

10 years later??

Ok, that’s enough for pictures!!! But being a housewife is no easy feat for those of you who are thinking that I had it good.

My New Life

After a whole year of slacking, it is definitely time to update my blog once again.
For those who have not been in contact with me, I have ended up in the teaching line.
Wrong decision? Frankly speaking, I aint that sure. See how it goes next year before I decide whether I have made the right choice. =)

Anyway gotten my new apartment furnished and been living there since July. Took me a whole 2 months of supervising plus another 3 months of planning before I have gotten everything up. When you aint rich, you just have to take the role of the designer, the supervisor and even the cleaner… ^_^” During the renovation, I was at the apartment every single day from 8am to 5pm to make sure everything is in the right place… Guess I should stop grumbling and start showing you my master piece I am so proud of!

Here’s the foyer and the bomb shelter.

My cosy living room

The Zen style coffee lounging area (my personal favourite!)

My presidential suite!!! And the walk-in-wardrobe!

How do you like it? Ideas are copyrighted hor… so don’t happily copy huh! *Just Kidding*
